Hotseat – integrating collaborative technologies into the classroom
What is Hotseat?
A web application that uses Twitter, Facebook or a mobile application and allows:
- Students to provide real-time feedback during class
- Students an opportunity to ask questions in a big lecture hall that they would not have asked due to embarrassment
- Professors to adjust course content based on the needs of the class and enhance the learning environment
- Students to vote on thoughts or questions to be addressed by the classroom
